Leading support service provider Amey has chosen an information management solution from Mayrise Systems to support the delivery of street lighting services across the county of Norfolk following the award of £150 million PFI contract. MAYRISE Street Lighting software provides Amey with tools for the creation of a centralised asset inventory, routine maintenance scheduling, fault reporting, monitoring and repair and the generation of management and contractual reporting. Amey, who look after more 600,000 street lights nationally, also use MAYRISE software for managing PFI contracts in Walsall, Manchester and Wakefield.

Balfour Beatty is boosting its services using advanced asset management software from Mayrise Systems to deliver three Private Finance Initiative (PFI) street lighting contracts. The three projects, with a combined value of £198 million, include the maintenance of more than 115,000 street lights and illuminated signs together with the installation of 63,000 new units. The MAYRISE Street Lighting systems, which include live-linked mobile PDAs, street mapping and connections to call centre systems, are being used by operations and support staff for the management of information and the control of maintenance and installation works.
